Kingwood is a short run east and north of us. It is worth saying plainly what makes Kingwood different from anywhere else we serve, because it changes what we look for first when a Kingwood rig comes into the bay.
Flood history matters, even years later
Kingwood has taken serious flooding. If your RV was here for any of it, or if you bought a unit locally and do not know its full history, that is the first thing worth establishing.
The reason is that flood damage in an RV is slow and quiet. Water wicks into the wall structure and the floor and does not leave, because the humidity here never gives it a chance. Wiring corrodes inside connectors where you cannot see it and produces faults that come and go for a year before anything fails outright. Appliances run and then quit. Owners often spend real money chasing symptoms one at a time without anyone stepping back and asking whether the whole rig went underwater.

Trees and roofs
Kingwood is heavily wooded, which is why people live here and why roofs suffer. Branches come down, needles hold moisture on the membrane, and shaded roofs stay wet. The free roof inspection is free and finds seam and sealant failure while it is still cheap to fix.
Storage between seasons
A lot of Kingwood units sit for months between trips. Sitting is harder on an RV than driving it. Batteries sulphate, tyres flat spot and age out, seals dry, and pests move into the ducting and the wiring. A 15 point safety inspection covers brakes, tyres, propane, electrical and roof in one visit and is the sensible thing to book before a first trip of the season rather than after a breakdown.
