Our shop sits on Rhodes Rd in Spring, straight down I 45 from Conroe. For most Conroe owners we are a short run south, which matters more than it sounds when the thing you are bringing in is thirty eight feet long and you would rather not thread it through half of Houston to reach a service bay.
What we tend to see from Conroe
Conroe rigs live near the water. Lake Conroe means boat ramps, launch traffic, damp storage and a lot of weekends where a coach sits in the sun with the awning out. Three things follow from that.
Sun and heat do the visible damage. Roof sealant goes chalky and pulls back from the seams, awning fabric gets brittle, and rubber roofing dries out years earlier than the brochure suggested. Our roof inspection is free, and it is the single most useful thing a Conroe owner can book, because roof failure is slow and silent until the ceiling stains.
Humidity does the invisible damage. Water that gets past a seam does not dry out in this climate, it sits in the wall and works on the framing. By the time there is a soft spot underfoot the repair is structural rather than cosmetic.
And the trip itself does the mechanical damage. Towing up and down I 45 in July loads brakes, tires and cooling systems harder than the same miles in spring. If you tow to the lake most weekends, chassis repair and brake work are worth booking before the season rather than after something lets go on the road.
Storm damage and insurance work
Montgomery County gets hail. When it comes through, it lands on the largest flat surface you own, which is your roof, and it usually takes the air conditioner shroud and the vent covers with it. We write RV insurance claim estimate and work directly with adjusters, so you are not stuck translating between your insurer and a repair shop that will not put a number on paper.
